What is California Proposition 65?

California's Proposition 65 requires certain businesses to provide warnings before exposing people to chemicals that the State of California lists as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Whether a warning is required depends on the circumstances of the exposure and applicable law.

Aftermarket vehicle parts and shop activities

Visiting the Hanna Race & Design shop

Potential exposure sources in vehicle-service and fabrication environments include engine exhaust, fuel vapors, solvents, and dust. Actual exposures depend on the work and conditions present during a visit.

Visitor safety and reducing potential exposure

To help reduce potential exposure during a shop visit, please stay in designated customer areas, remain away from running engines and active fabrication or repair work, and follow instructions from HRD staff. Avoid unnecessary contact with fuel, oils, solvents, dust, and shop work surfaces. Ask our team about current work areas and visitor precautions before entering the shop.
