Don't let the name fool you, The HRD "Mini Travel" lower control arm is the best way to get the most performance out of the factory travel numbers on your Gen 1, Gen 2, or Gen 3 Ford Raptor.
The "Mini Travel" lower control arm allows you to run a dual limit strap setup and a 3.5" 3 tube bypass if the premium option is chosen. Using such a big bypass shock you will need to run at least a 0 offset wheel or a negative offset wheel to clear the bypass at full lock while retaining factory turning radius.
The "Mini Travel" lower control arm utilizes 1" Pro Bearing uniballs for the inner pivots and a factory raptor balljoint for the outer pivot that connects the spindle.
Many other kits are setup using tapered misalignments into the spindle with a high quality bolt. Because of the factory spindles single sheer design, we have seen many of these setups fail (even when using mil-spec hardware) which is why we decided to retain the factory ball joints. Not only are they much stronger, they are also much easier and cheaper to service.
